Back in 2005 I got my first iPod (a 4GB nano) for Christmas, then starting that February I used it every day during my daily commute, then I started listening to it while at work. Then last year when I got my new car I made sure it had an iPod Adapter, so that I could listen in the car (without having to deal with the old school tape adapter or FM transmitter). Recently, the iPod was only holding a charge for about 1 hour... not so good for a commute that involves public transportation.
Time for a new one! I had to decide between the nano, classic , and touch. Touch would be overkill I think, since I have my blackberry. If I was a bigger movie watcher I may have considered the Classic, but I am not. So nano it was! 16 GB - I can now have every Pearl Jam concert bootleg that I own at my fingertips! Next up.... pick a color. It was between pink and green. So I picked green and got a pink skin :)

This announcement is perfect timing! My current 4GB 1st generation nano will be 3 years old in December. I saw an item on one of the weekend news programs that states an iPod is only good for about 500 charges (aka 2 years) so I am ready to upgrade (the purpose of the feature was when you should or should not buy the additional warranty stuff).
I will probably go with the nano again... I just need to decide on storage (8GB vs 16 GB) and color (too many to name - but I will probably go with silver or grey and then perk it up with various skins!)

or I survived HOA/Management company transistion hell present (there should be a fun upcoming post about this saga -- we just found out that the old mgmt company had the BOD do something illegal (about 4-5 years ago... so way before I was on the BOD)!

I visited the Apple store at the Annapolis mall this weekend.... looked at laptops...I'm 95% sure that I am going with the MacBook Pro with the 15 inch monitor!
I am in the market for a new laptop... and have made the decision to go back to Apple!!!!
The Dell did its job for about 4 years, but I am a Mac person at heart! Down with Microsoft 
Now I just need to decide between the MacBook or MacBook Pro!
