This had to be done this weekend, due to my condo going on the market! Basically I was using my 2nd bedroom as a quasi office/storage room. I have my cable modem there, along with the router and printer. I have a TV and a chair, some bookshelves. All my packing supplies for stuff I sell on ebay is stored there ( along with bunches of stuff that I still need to list on ebay. I should have taken a before picture, from when it was really bad... but I didn't.

(Oh... I hope no one looks in my 2nd bedroom closet or the hallway closet.... they are packed to the gills... I even manged to get 2 dining room chairs in my hallway closet!!)

Procrastinating!!

I hate packing so much that I washed my car, cleaned 2 bathrooms, vacuumed, and folded 2 loads of laundry to avoid it!

Today I changed the fluorescent light bulbs in my kitchen light fixture. I've been putting it off since they started flickering about 6 months ago, because when I had my final walk through about 6 years ago the guy showed me how to take the cover off and put it back on, and he had trouble getting it back in place... so I thought I was going to have to ask someone for help. This morning when I turned on the light, flickering started and never stopped. So I bit the bullet, hauled out my trusty step ladder, and took off the light cover. Then I took out one of the bulbs and headed off to Lowes. I got my replacements, came home and replaced them. Then I cleaned the light cover - 6 years of grease and grime -- . Then I replaced the light cover and it was very easy, no idea why the walk through guy had so much trouble, but at least now I know!

Here's what I did today...

Here's what Madison did... alllll daaay .. really.... she slept all day . must be nice.

therefore ... one day this winter I will be declaring CAT DAY.. where everyone (me :P) stays in bed all day :)

...and by cleaning I flipped a mattress, dusted the blades of a ceiling fan, swept and scrubbed 3 floors, moved most of my bedroom furniture (including a treadmill) and vacuumed behind/underneath, vacuumed the interior shutters, cleaned both bathrooms and the kitchen, a few loads of laundry... and clipped Madison's claws...
